This french wire is a lightweight,flexible, finely coiled wire. It is used in a gold work embroidery(Zardozi,Tambour,Luneville) & jewelry Making.
This is a very delicate wire and must be used with care, it is usually cut into small pieces, to put on to a thread like a bead and sewn on a fabric with the help of normal needle or aari needle.
